11月11日．和平紀念日 2013-11-112017-09-13admin 一九一九年第一次世紀大戰結束後，每年十一月十一日訂為香港和平記念日，第一年在中環豎立和平記念碑。回歸前為法定假期，一直以來的儀统，早上由港督帶領各長官進行悼念儀式，先於和平記念碑前行禮，再由香港義勇隊吹奏哀號，後依次序致花圈。 回歸後，記念儀式轉由退伍軍人協會主持，香港政府派代表到場悼念。 資料來源：香港工商日報．一九三八年十一月十一日
